It’s not often that we get to travel out of Yakima so it was was a nice change of scenery to go all the way up to Stanwood Washington and photograph a wedding at the beautiful Tazer Farm. Cherise and Matt were such a fun couple and totally head-over-heals for one another. They gave us lots of opportunities to do bride and groom pictures throughout the day so we were able to do a ton of different poses and scenes. The Tazer Farm is so beautiful that I’m not sure we even scratched the surface of cool places to take pictures.
One, of many, unique things they did at their wedding was to plant a tree during the ceremony. I love the symbolism behind this: “Let your relationship and your love for each other be like this tree you plant today. Let it grow tall and strong. Let it stand tall during the harsh winds and rains and storms, and come through unscathed. Like a tree, your marriage must be resilient. It must weather the challenges of daily life and the passage of time. And just like the tree you are planting, marriage requires constant nurturing and nourishment.“
Cameron and I had such a fun weekend in northern Washington and we had a blast photographing this wedding!
